Blue Stars United Information
Blue Stars United is an upcoming team trying to promote the love of soccer in young ones up to 17years of age. Blue Stars United was formed on 15 September 2012 with twenty-two players. The number of players keeps growing as more young ones are coming to join . We have seen a lot of talent in Zambia which the young ones have shown. As an academy we believe that one day, with proper nurturing, some of Our Young players will be able to play in the national team and even in some of the clubs in the world.
Vision
Our main aim is to impart discipline in our players and instill respect for self and the society they live in. We also emphasize the importance of them being in school to attain an education and also to put God First in everything they do?
Mission
To help them not only realize their talent but also help them to be responsible people in society by assisting them develop self discipline for the sport and for life in general by highlighting social issues that affect them including HIV/AIDS, child abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, etc.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Blue Stars United realizes that while there are people that need care in the home as they are encapacited by sickness in one way or the other; it is also very important to promote well being so that people adopt preventive practices that promote the total health of the person. Furthermore, Our aims is to focus on the many other health problems that may render a person to need care in the home and school such as high blood pressure, strokes, cancer, malaria, T.B, diabetes, HIV/AIDS to mention but a few as opposed to the traditional focus on HIV/AIDS. The Academy acknowledges that many people are affected by other health and social problems other than just HIV/AIDS, and these problems, just like HIV/AIDS, need support too. The approach therefore would be to integrate all health and social support needs in the package of prevention, care and support with appropriate referral. The support will be centered on promoting the physical, mental, social and spiritual well being of the person through the Academy and corporate communities. Blue Stars United Academy makes a contribution to the charitable organizations based in the communities in which we are based, undertaken with the help of player’s contribution in various disciplines including the following: HIV/AIDS, Education, and Environmental projects e.g. keep our city clean.
Spiritual Building Talks: Various seminars for spirituality organized through the team office.
Support Services: Activities under this activity will be undertaken on a small scale as it requires mobilization of external resources. Depending on available resources, activities will include: mobilization of support materials such as funds, food items and clothing.
Health and Safety Policy Statement
· To provide control of the health and safety risks arising from our games and training activities
· To consult with parents and players on matters affecting the health and safety of the team
· To provide and maintain safe sporting equipment
· To provide information, instruction and supervision for our players
· To ensure all players are competent to do their tasks and to give them adequate training to acquire the relevant skills.
· To prevent accidents and cases of soccer related ill health
· To maintain safe and healthy training conditions
· To review and revise this policy at regular intervals as may be necessary.
